Athletics Carnival

Friday June 20 - Prep to 9 year old students‍️

Excitement is building as we prepare for our annual School Athletics Carnival, taking place on:

Friday June 20 for our prep to 9 year old athletes, and

Friday June 27 for our 10 year old to 12 year old athletes.

3 Sport Houses:

Swans - red

Stingrays - blue

Emus - yellow

Students should wear their house colour tee shirt on the day. (Just a simple red, blue, yellow tee shirt with no extra motifs/designs etc)

Skill Development in HPE Lessons

This term in HPE, students will:

• Learn the correct techniques for each field event, and
• Practise and develop their skills

Selection for District Trials

Following the 10 - 12 year old carnival:

• Students (10 years, 11 years and 12 years) who achieve qualifying times or distances may be selected for the Nambour District Trials
• Please note: Placement (e.g., 1st place) does not guarantee selection; qualifying standards must be met
